Behind every company there is a story. Mine started with love. Or, more precisely, with the moment I moved in with my partner - and realized that from now on I would have to share my new home not only with him, but also with his ancient plastic shoehorn.

"There must be a nicer - and above all more sustainable - version," I thought. When I couldn't find a suitable shoehorn, I decided to make one myself. Instead of plastic, my shoehorn model should be made of wood; wood that comes directly from the Swiss forests is best. This is environmentally friendly and ecological. In addition, thanks to the grain, each wooden shoehorn has its own character and a distinctive look.

With the help of a local carpenter's workshop, the first prototypes were soon created and passed on to family and friends for testing. They found my wooden shoehorns so beautiful and practical that I decided to continue with this passion project.
The raw prototype has now matured into a practical design product made from 100% Swiss raw materials. Each wooden spoon is a truly unique piece, made by hand with the utmost care and attention to detail in a carpenter's workshop in Muotathal.

My customers include quality and environmentally conscious men and women, as well as entrepreneurs and hoteliers. They like to give this tried and tested and timeless accessory – the shoehorn – as a gift to customers and business partners, or make it available to hotel guests.

And my partner? He also thinks the wooden shoehorn is much more elegant than the plastic one!
